Reeder Transportation >> Driving School: Teen Driver Education

Did you know that students can enroll in a Driver Education Program at age 14 as long as they turn 15 during the scheduled class? Before getting their license teens must hold their permit for a minimum of 9 months and have at least 50 hours of driving (10 of it at night) with a parent or someone over the age of 21.

Reeder Transportation's Teen Driver Education Program is approved by the State of Illinois and offers 3 different courses to help teen drivers become the best and safest drivers possible.

  • Complete Driver Education: This consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours of behind the wheel training and 6 hours of observation in the car.
  • Behind The Wheel Program: This is 6 hours of behind the wheel training and 6 hours of observation in the car.
  • Classroom Only: This consists of 30 hours of classroom.
